The room was stylish, but the street noise kept waking me up at 5am.

I loved the contemporary Japanese design and spacious tatami room. The staff was super helpful, even assisting with luggage delivery. The shared tea area was a great chill spot to hang out. Best of all, it's a quick walk to Oyama Jinja and Kenrokuen park! 🌟

For convenience, I recommend picking up water and tea from the central hubs, which are efficiently located on both floors.

I was quite disappointed with my stay at Kumu Kanazawa. The layout of the room was confusing. the varying floor levels made moving around a real hazard, leading to multiple stumbles during the night. I also found the common lounge policy frustrating, as I couldn't enjoy a snack or drink in a comfortable setting, despite being the only guests on that floor.

Only downside was the bathroom setup. different floor levels led to a couple of trips and slips. A small window near the top bunk didn’t let in much sunlight, making the room feel a bit dark. Overall, a pleasing stay with unique touches and comfort.
